Duane Keith Gibeau

Duane Keith Gibeau of Granbury,a retired pilot for Airborne Express, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, in Granbury. He was 77.
Inurnment services will be held at a later date.
Gibeau was born Oct. 28, 1931, in Esbon, Kan., to John Gibeau and Tracy Nolbert Gibeau. He married Raelene Ruth Schlechty, Sept. 14, 1968. He graduated from high school in Downs, Kan. He had lived in Granbury since 1995.
Gibeau served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1962. He was a pilot for Overseas Air and retired from Airborne Express. He also retired from the Army National Guard.
Survivors: Wife, Raelene Gibeau of Granbury; son, Sean Garnish and wife, Michele, of Dallas; brothers, Marvin Gibeau and Dale Gibeau, both of Ore.; sister, Marge Cole of Hubbard, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Wiley Funeral Home.
